Solidstruk
A website revamp for a Philippine design-and-build firm: one long cost-estimator page became a complete site with three ways to a number: a budget outlook, an eight-step configurator and a plan-based takeoff.

The challenge
Solidstruk's original site was a single page, more than 13,600 pixels long on desktop and over 23,000 on a phone. Its estimator already worked, but every visitor scrolled through all fifteen of its questions on the homepage, the firm's design, engineering and construction services sat beneath the calculator, and the menu links only jumped around that one page.
Our approach
We kept the costing and rebuilt everything around it: three ways to reach a number, each on its own page, alongside dedicated Services, About and Contact pages and a bold, dark editorial identity built on real home photography.
The outcome
The revamp now runs at solidstruk.com, replacing the original site. The before captures and figures here were recorded on October 1, 2026, just before the switch; no traffic, lead or conversion results are claimed.
One page became six
The original site was one long page: the estimator, the process, the services and the firm's story stacked in a single scroll. The revamp gives each job its own page.

How the estimate works now
The costing carried over. For the same default house, 120 sqm on two storeys, both versions return ₱3M to ₱3.89M with the same cost drivers. What changed is how a visitor reaches that number and what they can do next.
Before

After

Every option, before and after
Before: fifteen questions in one scroll

After: the configurator, steps one to seven

01 / Start from a budget
A budget becomes a floor area
On the new homepage, a ₱3M to ₱20M slider turns a budget into a likely floor area and finish level. It divides the budget by an indicative planning rate that rises with the budget, from ₱28,500 per sqm at the low end to ₱30,000 at the top, so ₱12M suggests about 375 to 455 sqm at a higher finish.

02 / Configure in eight steps
The same choices, grouped
The estimator groups those choices into eight steps: site and size, structure, exterior walls, roof and ceiling, windows and doors, interior finish, exterior color, and the quote. A progress count, the live range and the current cost drivers stay beside every step, ending in a request for an engineer-reviewed quote.

03 / Or start from plans
A quantity takeoff from drawings
New on the site: upload construction drawings as a PDF, review the plan, and download a preliminary quantity takeoff in Excel. It is labeled as a planning document for review by a quantity surveyor, not a final bill of quantities.
