The challenge
Sodales had a clear premise — different disciplines become more useful when they work as one — but the digital identity still explained that idea mostly in words. The five product divisions needed a visual story that made their relationship immediately legible without collapsing them into one generic product.
Our approach
The team built the film as a sequence of connected objects: each discipline arrives with its own tool, material, and rhythm before joining a shared system. Soft ivory space keeps the information calm, graphite gives the objects weight, and electric violet becomes the signal that links each scene. The storyboard treats every frame as a reusable composition, so the system can expand into launches, product films, and editorial stills.
The outcome
The first twenty-second film now leads the parent site and provides a visual spine for the wider product family. It works as motion when conditions allow and as a strong authored still when reduced-motion or data-saving preferences call for restraint. This is the opening chapter of the system, not a claim that the work is finished.
